Welcome to my world. It is a world full of ideas, silliness, and the occasional rant.

There are a few things you ought to know about me to understand where I am coming from and what sort of stuff I post about: The first is that I am a librarian-to-be (just a few months away from obtaining my Master’s in Library and Information Science). More importantly, I am one of a rare breed of library folk: I’m not a reading fanatic and I don’t really want to work with kids, thankyouverymuch. The second is that I love the ocean. I especially love all the things that live in and around it. Anything related to marine biology makes me a happy gal. The third is that I am vegan. Not eats-vegan vegan, but lives-vegan vegan. This means that I don’t eat, buy, or support anything that involved killing or abusing animals (all animals, not just cute ones).

Naturally, there is a lot more too me that just librarian-to-be vegan ocean lover, but they are fairly core to my life.
